We’ve come a long way since we took a massive leap of faith over 20 years ago…
For several years, we watched how other agents worked and couldn’t believe how many times they got things wrong. Poor customer service, shoddy workmanship and a lack of communication were just some of the things we noticed. We decided that we could do a much better job ourselves.
Thereafter followed many long hours of training and attendances at numerous property courses before we opened our first branch as a letting agent in Sunderland. Since then, we’ve gone from strength to strength & earned a valued reputation as a specialist-letting agent, not just an estate agent that dabble in lettings.
As landlords ourselves, we are very proud of our route into property and value the relationships we have with landlords & tenants alike. We are regarded by many as the go-to people in the North East and consider ourselves to be a one-stop shop for all your rental property needs. We believe a landlord should have as much or as little involvement as they want, knowing that their investment is in safe hands. We also believe; why should we be paid if a landlord is not, that’s why, as an agent, we only take a percentage of the rent we receive, not a minimum or fixed monthly fee regardless like some other agents charge.
To complement our services, we also have our own sister company; AJACS NE Ltd, consisting of various multi-skilled trades who can do everything from changing a light bulb to full property refurbishment.
